The OSL Library will sponsor its “Build a Better World” Summer Reading Program, beginning on June 4. Kids (through high school) are invited to help “build a better world” domino city in the Library. For each book you read, you will get a dot on a domino used for the city scene, and your receipt will make you eligible for a $5 weekly prize drawing. The reading program will run for 10 weeks; you will receive a treat and prize with every check-out. At the program’s completion, the two youth who have read the most books and accrued the most domino city dots will receive a grand prize! By participating, you will also be invited to participate in the OSL Library Committee’s service project, included in CityServe (organized by LifeLight), to put the reading program theme to work and live out OSL’s mission, Connecting Faith to Everyday Life.
