The Church Office will be closed on Jan. 1. No church events will be held at OSL on those dates.
Pr. Justin Kosec is due to begin his ministry at OSL on January 1. He and his family will be moving to South Dakota after Christmas to join us in our mission to connect faith with everyday life. Please keep Justin, Susanne, and Amariah in your prayers during this time of new beginnings and be ready to welcome them as only OSL can.

A four-week miniseries based on the movie All Saints will begin in worship services the weekend of Jan. 20–21 and run through Feb. 10–11. All Saints is based on the true story of salesman-turned-pastor Michael Spurlock, the tiny church he was ordered to shut down, and a group of refugees from Southeast Asia. Take your experience to the next level by participating in a LifeGroup study during this miniseries. Sign up to be part of a LifeGroup at the table in The Gathering Place, beginning Dec. 30–31. For more information, or to serve as a LifeGroup Connector, contact Trish Syverson, email@example.com, or call the Church Office, 336-2942.
All Saints will be shown at OSL on Saturday, Jan. 12, at 2:30 p.m.; Sunday, Jan. 13, at 12:30 p.m.; and Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 6:15 p.m. All showings will be in OSL’s Holy Word Theatre. The OSL Library will sponsor these showings to help members prepare for the upcoming sermon series and LifeGroups discussions.
Men of God: OSL’s combined Men’s Bible Breakfast group and Lutheran Men in Mission group meets on the first and third Saturday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the Conference Room. A continental breakfast is provided by members at each gathering. Men of all ages are invited to attend this one-hour Bible study when it meets next, on Jan. 6. For more information, contact Pr. Tim Lemme, 336-2942 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

Randy will lead a discussion of the draft social statement on Women and Justice published by the ELCA. All are welcome to participate in the discussion.
