Connecting Faith and Life, an adult discussion and study group, will continue on Wednesday, at 6:00 p.m., in the Conference Room. Pr. Randy leads a discussion of the draft social statement on Women and Justice published by the ELCA. All are welcome to participate in the discussion; men are especially encouraged to attend.
The four-week miniseries based on the movie All Saints continues in worship services through Feb. 10–11. All Saints is based on the true story of salesman-turned-pastor Michael Spurlock, the tiny church he was ordered to shut down, and a group of refugees from Southeast Asia. Take your experience to the next level by participating in a LifeGroup study during this miniseries. Sign up to be part of a LifeGroup at the table in The Gathering Place. For more information, contact Trish Syverson, email@example.com.
Parents’ Night Out will be on Friday, Feb. 9, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Register for Nursery care (infant through age ten) by contacting Nancy Heesch, firstname.lastname@example.org, with the names and ages of your children.

The Silent Auction is the major fundraiser for youth summer trips each year. How can you support this effort? (1) Donate an item, service, or experience to be auctioned—donations are due to the Church Office by Feb 4. (2) Come to the Silent Auction Banquet on Sunday, Feb. 25—tickets will be available soon. And, of course, (3) bid on items, starting on Saturday, Feb. 17. The auction will end on Sunday, March 4, at 12:15 p.m.
Unique Mission Opportunity—in Harrisburg! OSL mission partner Table of Grace is seeking two families or individuals to serve as Mission Households for a period of one year at Table of Grace. Together with mission households from other partner congregations, these OSL-commissioned “missionaries” will help provide a critical mass of people to this developing congregation in the Harrisburg School District. If interested, contact Pr. Randy or Pr. Justin, 336-2942.
Mully will be the Second Saturday Movie, on Feb. 10 at 2:30 p.m. in the Holy Word Theatre. Mully is the true story of Charles Mully, whose unlikely rise to wealth and power leaves him questioning his own existence and searching for meaning in life. Make a day of it with the movie, followed by worship at 5:00 and dinner afterward!
Help young adults living away from home know that OSL cares about them and remembers them! Consider a donation of items for care packages to be assembled by the youth team: spiral-bound 3x5 index cards, mechanical pencils, highlighters, travel-size hand sanitizer, lip balm, microwave popcorn, and individual packages of conversation hearts will be collected at the Youth Table in The Gathering Place and in the Church Office through Feb. 4. Financial donations to help with postage would be appreciated too! If you know someone who would appreciate a care package, give the name and address to Pr. Sami.
Luther College Nordic Choir will perform at OSL on Saturday, Feb. 10, at 7:00 P.M. (Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for ages 65 and up, and $5 for students.
