Here’s your look at some of the things happening at Our Savior’s. See the current bulletin announcements at oslchurch.com for all the latest!

Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast is this Sunday, April 15, between worship services. If you volunteer in any way at OSL, come for a free breakfast and a pin, courtesy of the Congregational Life Board.
Faithful Living + Joyful Giving: Generosity is one of OSL’s core values, but do you experience joy in your giving? Do you ever wish you could? Would you like to experience even greater joy in giving? The good news is that you can, by following six proven steps that will take you deeper in your faith. Join Pr. Randy for a six-week Bible study on Wednesday evenings, 6:00 to 7:00, through May 16, in the Conference Room. All are welcome.
The OSL Library’s Spring Book Sale is this weekend! Support the Library by stocking up on books, music CDs, and DVD movies on Saturday, April 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Sunday, April 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the Friendship Room. A $2 donation for books for adults and $1 for children’s books and each CD or DVD is suggested.

A Little Further Out...

Things are about to get crazy...but that’s what happens when it’s time for Midnight Madness, when OSL invites Augustana University students to come over for an evening of study, relaxation, recreation—and pizza!—as they prepare for finals. This year’s Midnight Madness will be on Sunday, May 13, from 6:00 to midnight, and there are many opportunities for you to help. Stop by the table in The Gathering Place on Sundays, starting on April 8, to donate your time, food, or financial support for pizzas, or contact Loretta Nelson, lnelson@oslchurch.com or 336-2942, ext. 14. Thank you for your support of Our Savior’s Augie neighbors.
The Envelope Fundraiser supports OSL students going to Week of Hope in Minneapolis and the ELCA Youth Gathering in Houston this summer. Stop by the south windows, near the Celebrate Center, grab a numbered envelope, put cash or a check (made to OSL) with the corresponding number of dollars as the envelope’s number, and place it in the Offering or turn it into the office by April 22. Thank you for supporting OSL youth!
OSL’s Men’s Bible Breakfast group meets on the first and third Saturday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the Conference Room. A continental breakfast is provided by members at each gathering. Men of all ages are invited to attend this one-hour Bible study when it meets on April 21. For more details, contact Pr. Tim Lemme, tlemme@oslchurch.com or 336-2942, ext. 19.
Wellness Wednesdays will continue through May 2, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., in Caring Ministries. The series will use Church Health “Model Moments” study guides to encourage one another in our individual wellness efforts. Suggested donation is $5; the series is supported by a Thrivent grant. Register with Michelle Anderson, RN, Faith Community Nurse, 336-2942, ext. 28, or mianderson@oslchurch.com.
Feel like you belong here? You’ll make a difference, meet new friends in faith, and deepen your walk with God when you join OSL. Contact Nicole, 336-2942, ext. 33, or nmindt@oslchurch.com, to reserve your spot at New Member Orientation on Saturday, April 21, from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Start the Conversation Part 2, “Communicating Your Wishes with Advanced Care Planning,” will be on Sunday, April 22, from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., in Fellowship Hall. Avera and Sanford staff will join Michelle Anderson, RN, FCN, in a panel discussion on how to prepare advanced directives. Questions? Contact Michelle, mianderson@oslchurch.com or 336-2942, ext. 28.
