Easter plants will beautify worship services on Easter Sunday, April 1. If you wish to honor a special person or occasion, remember a loved one or friend, or show gratitude for God’s many blessings by purchasing a plant ($15), stop at the Information Center on Sunday or the Church Office during the week. Plants may be picked up after the 11:00 a.m. services on Easter Sunday.
The OSL Library is hosting a Resurrection Egg Hunt in the Library each Sunday and Wednesday through April 1, to keep God’s grace at the heart of the Lenten season. Children and youth who check out items and find one of the Resurrection Eggs hidden among the Library shelves will receive a prize after they explain the way the item inside relates to the Easter story.

Operation Outreach is OSL’s way of empowering the work of over 25 ministry partners this year through festival offerings (Lent, Easter, Thanksgiving, Advent, and Christmas). In 2018, OSL hopes to raise more than $55,000 through these special offerings in order to continue to support the life-giving ministries of OSL’s partners in a meaningful and substantial way. Thanks for giving generously to Operation Outreach!

Plant carriers will help with the Easter procession in each Festive worship service on April 1. To be part of the procession, leave your name at the Information Center on Sunday or in the Church Office during the week. This is a great family activity! Seats will be reserved for plant carriers, who should meet 20 minutes prior to the service, in Room 103.
In OSL’s Bereavement Ministry Program, volunteers deliver a Bereavement Packet and Dinner to Your Door meal to members who have recently lost a loved one. It’s just one way Our Savior’s members help one another to cope with loss. You can play a part in this important ministry—contact Deb Harlan, 336-2942, ext. 48, or dharlan@oslchurch, to find out how!
Connect faith to everyday life by being one of 25 OSL volunteers who will help to serve breakfast at the Banquet on Thursday, April 19. Sign up at the Information Center, or call Jon Voight, 334-8410 or 323-9591.
Among the many opportunities to serve OSL and the larger community, two currently stand out: Ushers and Information Center hosts. Each of these volunteer positions is an important component of Our Savior’s dedication to hospitality, to members and visitors alike. The time commitment is not great, and schedules are adjustable. Contact Loretta Nelson, firstname.lastname@example.org or 336-2942, ext. 14, for more information.
