Opportunities and Things to Note...

The Summer Food Service Program will return to OSL this year. In 2017, OSL served over 8,000 free meals to young people in the community through this partnership with Embe. You can be a part of this exciting ministry in two ways, as a volunteer (as your schedule allows) or as the part-time Site Coordinator, keeping track of the number of meals served and other administrative details from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each day. Contact Pr. Sami, or 336-2942, ext. 12, if you wish to be involved.
OSL supports the Food To You Mobile Food Pantry by donating various food items throughout the year, which will be used by local families in need. The food item for May is peanut butter. Donations may be placed in the marked bins near the south entrance, by the Library.
