Foundation Notes: Counting Down to 2019
As you read this, you certainly realize that another year is past the halfway point. We ask ourselves this question: “Where does time go?” My un-scientific answer is that it evaporates, never to be seen again.

So what are we to do? One suggestion is to make the most of each day. I believe it means living each day implementing the core values of Our Savior’s: Worship, Service, Learning, Generosity, and Community.

This is much easier said than done, because, as Tolstoy proclaimed, “Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.” Thankfully, we enjoy many new days to try, try again, so we press on.

Think about and please assess your perspective of the OSLC Foundation. See the work that the Foundation has done and will do in partnering with the ongoing efforts of this congregation. Decide if this is part of your dream for OSL. And then, let’s visit—sooner rather than later, or we’ll be asking the same question: “Where does time go?”
