Seasons of Life, by Erin Kaiser
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1

There is a season for every part of life. Whether it be for good or bad, each space of life is a season that can be looked back upon for growth.

As we walk through this season of Lent, we reflect on who we are: creatures of the Creator. We are creatures who, at some point in our lives, have been broken by things that have happened to us. Whether it is a death, empty nest, an unpleas¬ant diagnosis, hospitalization, job loss, or anything that has caused an upheaval, life is not what it used to be.

Going through these struggles is not easy, nor are we called to do this alone. Stephen Ministers are trained to listen, have empathy, and con¬sole the hurting. We are here during the roller coaster of life, the ups and downs of the situation.

Are you in need of a Stephen Minister? Do you know someone who might be? Contact Pr. Tim Lemme ( or 336-2942, ext. 19), Deb Harlan ( or 336-2942, ext. 48), or Michelle Anderson ( or 336-2942, ext. 28).

“No one should hurt alone. That’s why we have Stephen Ministry.”
