OSL’s Campus Cupboard helps OSL’s Augustana University and University of Sioux Falls Neighbors with food items to help them get by when dining halls are unavailable (such as during school holidays).
Now that these lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer are coming to a close, OSL’s student neighbors will be coming through to tour the Campus Cupboard—but like Mother Hubbard’s, the OSL cupboard is a little bare right now.
From the cupboard’s beginning, OSL members have always stepped up to make sure our neighboring students have a means to get by when their dining halls are closed. Here are some of the most popular items for students:
Ramen noodles (any kind; hot and spicy are a favorite)
Microwave mac and cheese
Canned fruits
Oatmeal packets
Pasta
Pasta sauce
Breakfast bars
Canned meats
Peanut butter
Jelly
Pasta
Spaghetti sauce
Canned vegetables
Shelf-stable snacks of all kinds
Personal hygiene items (deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, all kinds of things)
You’ll find a labeled cart inside the south entrance where you may leave your donated items. Thank you for your generosity!
