Support OSL’s Augustana Campus Cupboard During the COVID-19 Pandemic

This month, the Augustana Campus Cupboard received a Daily Bread matching grant through our national denomination. They gave OSL 14 days to raise $500, which they would match—and we raised that money in less than 24 hours! We will use your generous gifts to purchase reusable bags, groceries, and other supplies for the Campus Cupboard.

With about 100 students still on campus, Our Savior’s has been filling bags for students to pick up on campus. The bags are going fast! Since the start of the shutdown, we have packed almost 75 bags of food. Now our cupboards are low, and we can use your help to refill the shelves.

How you can help: Simply buy some, or all, of the items on the shopping list below. Please use paper bags.

How do I get the groceries to you? If you order your groceries online, you can schedule delivery directly to OSL. Or you can drop groceries at OSL, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to noon; or Sunday morning from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. When you arrive at church, place your groceries on the rolling cart in the south entrance (by the circle-drive canopy). We will lock up the groceries each night.

Here’s the list:

    • Fruit canned and dried
    • Vegetables, canned (beans of all kinds are good protein)
    • Peanut butter
    • Canned meats
    • Pasta
    • Rice
    • Pasta sauce
    • Mac and cheese
    • Soups
    • Canned meals (ravioli, beef stew, chili)
    • Ramen
    • Cereal
    • Canned milk (evaporated or coconut)
