Silent Auction: Vintage Tulip Quilt
We invite you to participate in a silent auction for a beautiful vintage tulip quilt! The quilt squares were lovingly crafted years ago by an aunt of Pastor Bruce and Karel Williams and brought to life by the skilled hands of OSL Quilters Marilyn Schempp and Kris Breitag.
Proceeds from the auction will support the OSL Healing Garden and outreach ministries.
How to participate:
-
Place your bid on the form at the Welcome Center.
-
Increase bids in increments of $5 (or more).
-
The winner will be announced on June 29—you do not need to be present to win.
This meaningful project is sponsored by the OSL Healing Garden Action Team. If you have questions, please call 605-215-2392.
Don’t miss this chance to own a one-of-a-kind quilt while supporting a great cause!
Update on Offering Envelopes
OSL staff has been updating our offering envelope mailing lists to better serve our members. We now have two options: Weekly Envelopes (mailed out 6 times per year); or Church Holiday Envelopes Only (mailed out once per year, for those who are on First Fruits, IRA giving, etc.). If you are receiving the weekly envelopes but prefer to receive only the annual Church Holiday envelopes, OR if you do not receive envelopes but you would like to be, please call the church office at 605-336-2942 to update your preference.
Ways to Help
Set Up VBS!
During the last week of May, we’ll be transforming our space for Vacation Bible School, “True North: Trusting Jesus in a Wild World!” We’re looking for helping hands to hang sets, move tables and chairs, assemble Christmas trees, and create an Alaskan wilderness right here at OSL. Join us when you can and stay as long as you’re able—no need to commit to the entire day. Whether you’re handy, artistic, or just eager to pitch in, we’d love your help.
