Call Committee Update

Our Ministry Site Profile is “Active” – this means that potential candidates can see that OSL is looking for a lead pastor on the ELCA synod website.  We have met with Church Council and Transition Task Force to understand congregational vision for our new Lead Pastor and we are currently trying to connect with staff members and other stakeholders to hear as many voices as possible.  If you have a pastoral referral who we should consider or if you have any comments/questions for the Call Committee – please email us at call@oslchurch.com.

Saturday Morning Bible Study

Throughout history Matthew’s gospel has played a prominent role in Christian worship and practice, and to this day it retains a central place in most people’s experiences of the New Testament and the Christian faith. Matthew envisions the church as made up of sinners and doubters who struggle with faith, temptation, and forgiveness, but ultimately reflect the ministry and presence of Jesus.

When: 2nd Saturday of the month beginning Oct. 12. from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

Where: Office Conference Room

“Strength Isn’t Always Physical”

He now serves as a mental health advocate for his former team.  Members of our congregation and visitors from our community gathered together in the Celebrate Center for a very informative and encouraging forum, followed by a question and answer time.
