Photo of Soap BarCharis Ministry Partners, a partnership of Sioux Falls area ELCA congregations that fills critical gaps in social assistance in Sioux Falls, has indicated a need for new bar soap for hygiene kits provided to recipients of the outreach program. Place your donation in the labeled container near the south entrance, and thank you for your generosity!

Food to You Mobile Food Pantry logoOSL supports the Food to You Mobile Food Pantry by donating various food items to help local families in need, and helping with food distributions. The item for December is tuna and tuna helper; for January it will be Macaroni and cheese. Always appreciated are toothpaste, shampoo, and deodorant for Hygiene Packs. Place your donations in the marked bins near the south entrance, by the Library.

Stephen Ministry photo Our Savor’s will be training another class of Stephen Ministers in January. Stephen Ministers work alongside pastors to care, encourage, and provide emotional and spiritual support to people who are going through a difficult time, such as divorce, grief, hospitalization, unemployment, illness, or loneliness. If you have gifts for caring, encouragement, and listening, why not prayerfully consider becoming part of this exciting ministry? To learn more, contact Pr. Tim Lemme, 605-336-2942, ext. 48, or tlemme@oslchurch.com.
