The Wednesday Wellness Series will meet in the shade in OSL’s south parking lot on July 21 at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday Wellness discussions center on the seven topics on the Wellness Wheel: Faith Life, Medical, Movement, Work, Emotional, Nutrition, and Friends & Family. How do we manage these in the context of recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic? Come for informal and fun conversation with old and new friends! Bring a lawn chair, coffee, snacks, etc. In case of rain, meet in The Gathering Place. The discussion will be followed by an optional Prayer Walk to explore interesting sites around OSL’s neighborhood. Prayer Walk Maps will be available at the Welcome Center. No registration is required. Contact Michelle Anderson, RN, Faith Community Nurse, with questions: 336-2942, ext. 28, or email@example.com.
Things to Note…
OSL’s Bell Tower Project—which had been put on hold thanks to (surprise!) the pandemic—is well underway! Check out photos on the OSL website from time to time to track progress! In addition to photos, you’ll find a note from Facility Manager Scott Meyer outlining the next phase of the project.

Every week or so, Our Savior’s Communications produces a short Information Video of upcoming events, activities, and opportunities. It’s shown at the Welcome Center and on monitors in the Sanctuary and Celebrate Center before worship services. And it’s posted to the OSL website as well, so if you haven’t been by for a while, or you’d just like a closer look, find the videos here!
Opportunities to Help
Come help out when Our Savior’s assists with the next Food to You distribution, on Thursday August 19, at Augustana Lutheran Church (N. Prairie Ave. at Seventh St.). Full details and sign-up sheet are at the Welcome Center.
If you’ve been contemplating ways to serve your OSL community, consider serving as a communion team member or an usher—or both! If you were unable to fill out the card that was available in worship services for a couple weeks, just contact Gene LeVasseur, Director of Worship, 336-2942, ext. 40, or firstname.lastname@example.org, and let him know you’re interested.
• Small bottles of lotion or cream

There’s a designated box for your donation near the bins next to the OSL Library. Thank you for your generosity!
OSL supports the Food to You Mobile Food Pantry by donating various food items to help local families in need, and helping with food distributions. The item for July is macaroni and cheese; for August, any kind of pasta. Always appreciated are toothpaste, shampoo, and deodorant for Hygiene Packs. Place your donations in the marked bins near the south entrance, by the Library.
