The Library Committee has selected Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens as its Summer One Church One Read title. Where the Crawdads Sing is an exquisite ode to the natural world, a heartbreaking coming-of-age story, and a surprising tale of possible murder. Owens reminds us that we are forever shaped by the children we once were, and that we are all subject to the beautiful and violent secrets that nature keeps. Check out one of the 11 copies available in the Library, then join the discussion on Sept. 22, at 10:00 a.m., in the Library.

A Little Further Out...

Friendship Club will then take a couple months off for summer break, and be back in September—so be sure you don’t miss this June meeting! Bring a friend!
