Here’s your look at some of the things happening at Our Savior’s. See the current bulletin announcements at oslchurch.com for all the latest!

Midweek Lenten worship services continue on Wednesdays, at noon in the Chapel and at 6:40 p.m. in the Sanctuary, from March 13 through April 10. The Lenten theme this year is The Right Stuff, a theme that will help us explore how we can use the stuff in our lives for godly purposes.
To keep God’s grace at the heart of the Lenten season, the OSL Library is hosting an Eggs-on-the-Shelf Lent and Easter activity! Come check out items from the Library each Sunday and Wednesday through April 21, find one of the Resurrection Eggs hidden among the shelves, and answer a question about the Easter story to receive a prize!
Walking Workout Wednesdays will continue through April 10, at 10:00 a.m., in the Labyrinth Room. Using a Leslie Sansone DVD, the group will walk in place with easy-to-follow moves for shaping the waistline, flattening the tummy, and strengthening the back. Following the DVD workout, everyone will be invited on a 30-minute walk around the building—inside, of course! Come for a fun, active time.
OSL Food Ministry will serve breakfast this Sunday in The Gathering Place, starting at 9:30. This week’s menu: Breakfast sandwiches, tri-taters, fruit, and donut holes. Wednesday supper during Lent will be soup and pie. Thank you for contributing to the freewill offering to help cover expenses.
The book discussion of the OSL Library’s Winter One Church One Read, Sold on a Monday by Krista McMorris, will be this Sunday, March 24, at 10:00 a.m., in the Conference Room.

This year’s Lenten and Easter Offerings are designated as direct support of OSL’s 30-some ministry partners, which expand exponentially the reach of our mission beyond the walls of Our Savior’s. Thank you for your generous support.
Hospital Visitation is a vital ministry that lets OSL members know they matter to both God and their church family. Opportunities exist for you to volunteer, and training will be provided! Contact Pr. Tim Lemme, tlemme@oslchurch.com or 336- 2942, ext. 19, or Deb Harlan, dharlan@oslchurch.com or 336-2942, ext. 48, for details.
OSL Caring Friends serve members who are homebound or in nursing homes or care facilities, to help those folks feel connected to the Body of Christ. Many opportunities exist for you to become a Caring Friend! Stop by the Conference Room on Thursday, April 4, at 1:00 p.m., to learn more about this vital ministry, or contact Deb Harlan, dharlan@oslchurch.com or 336-2942, ext. 48.
Let’s Go Shopping! In partnership with Sanford, Our Savior’s has begun a program to provide basic clothing to folks discharged from the hospital without shoes, socks, underwear, pants, etc. That creates an opportunity for a couple of shoppers to help keep shelves stocked with items requested by OSL’s partners in the hospital’s social work department. Sound interesting? Contact Pr. Justin, jkosec@oslchurch.com.
The deadline is March 31 for Thrivent Benefit members to direct Choice Dollars to a charity of their choice—including OSL—at no cost to themselves. To direct any 2018 Choice Dollars you may have, log in at thrivent.com or call 1-800-THRIVENT and say “Thrivent Choice” at the prompt. Also, you may apply for up to two $250 Action Team grants for a cause you care about in your church or community. Questions? Contact Deb Merxbauer, 336-2942, ext. 25, or dmerxbauer@oslchurch.com.
Church on the Street is collecting Easter eggs for their annual Easter Egg Hunt. You can help by contributing plastic Easter eggs filled with candy. You may drop them off at First Lutheran Church in downtown Sioux Falls or the synod office at Augustana University, by April 3. Questions? Contact Rebel Hurd, rebel@churchonthestreetsf.org.
OSL supports the Food to You Mobile Food Pantry by donating various food items throughout the year, which will be used by local families in need. The food item for March will be hearty soup; for April it will be cereal. Donations may be placed in the marked bins near the south entrance, by the Library.
