Here’s your look at some of the things happening at Our Savior’s. See the current bulletin announcements at oslchurch.com for all the latest!

Midweek Lenten worship services will be on Wednesdays, at noon in the Chapel and at 6:40 p.m. in the Sanctuary, from March 13 through April 10. The Lenten theme this year is The Right Stuff, a theme that will help us explore how we can use the stuff in our lives for godly purposes.
To keep God’s grace at the heart of the Lenten season, the OSL Library will host an Eggs-on-the-Shelf Lent and Easter activity! Come check out items from the Library each Sunday and Wednesday from March 6 through April 21, find one of the Resurrection Eggs hidden among the shelves, and answer a question about the Easter story to receive a prize!
The Second Saturday Movie, on March 9, will be Unbroken, the epic drama that follows the incredible life of Olympian and WWII hero Louis “Louie” Zamperini. Make a day of it with the movie at 2:30 in the Holy Word Theatre, followed by worship at 5:00 in the Sanctuary, and dinner afterward in The Gathering Place!
All are welcome to join in the Button Cross Canvas Cross+Gen Event, this Sunday, March 10, at 10:00 a.m., in Fellowship Hall. Come explore the Lenten theme through meaningful discussion while designing your own cross!
Attention Men! If you’re 25 to 45ish and longing to go deeper in your faith with men your age, consider being a part of The Right Stuff LifeGroup that will meet during Lent at a time and frequency that works for the group. Pr. Randy will be the group connector. Contact him if you’re interested: rgehring@oslchurch.com.

OSL Food Ministry will serve breakfast this Sunday in The Gathering Place, starting at 9:30. This week’s menu: Egg bake, caramel rolls, yogurt, orange juice, and donut holes. Wednesday supper during Lent will be soup and pie. Thank you for contributing to the freewill offering to help cover expenses.
Only one more Sunday remains for your four- or five-year-old preschool student to carry Plush Jesus for their Walk with Jesus Milestone! Register your child via the SignUpGenius link you should have received (if you haven’t, contact Melissa, mnesdahl@oslchurch.com). When your child has Plush Jesus, you will take photos and fill out an info sheet about activities shared, for a video that will be shared in worship on March 31.
Walking Workout Wednesdays will begin on March 13, at 10:00 a.m., in Fellowship Hall, and continue through April 10. Using a Leslie Sansone DVD, the group will walk in place with easy-to-follow moves for shaping the waistline, flattening the tummy, and strengthening the back. Following the DVD workout, everyone will be invited on a 30-minute walk around the building—inside, of course! Come for a fun, active time.
Wellness Wednesdays will resume for its final meeting of the series on March 13, at 6:00 p.m., in Caring Ministries.
OSL Addiction Ministry invites you to OLLI Community Lecture Series 2019: The Drug Abuse Crisis Near and Far. Remaining sessions in this free series include “Law Enforcement Perspective: Drug Abuse and Addiction Challenges,” with agents of the Division of Criminal Investigation, on March 14; and “Medical Perspective: Treatment Approaches for Drug Addiction,” with healthcare providers, on March 21. Lectures will be held in the Celebrate Center, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Visit bit.ly/2tCd0RN for complete details. Visit bit.ly/2tCd0RN for complete details.
The OSL Library’s winter One Church One Read is Sold on a Monday by Krista McMorris. Inspired by an actual newspaper photograph that stunned the nation, Sold on a Monday is a powerful novel of love, redemption, and the unexpected paths that bring us home. Check out a copy in the Library, then join in the discussion on March 24 at 10:00 a.m. in the Conference Room.

A Little Further Out...

The OSL Library is accepting books, movie DVDs, and music CDs through March 31 for its spring book sale. The book sale will run from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, and from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, in the Friendship Room. Bring items into the Library during open hours; do not leave items outside the Library doors.

Two-year-olds through kindergarten students and their families are invited to OSL’s first Drive-In Mystery Movie, on March 16, from 10:00 11:15 a.m., in the Labyrinth Room. Have your child decorate a box, laundry basket, or tub at home before the event, which they will comfortably sit inside as their “car,” then bring your child’s car, a pillow, and comfy outdoor chairs for the rest of your family to the event. Sign up through the link you were emailed, or contact Melissa Nesdahl, mnesdahl@oslchurch.com.
The First Grade Lord’s Prayer Milestone will be on March 17. Students and their parents or caring adults will attend a pastor-led Family Time at 10:00 a.m., in the Friendship Room, where you will make beautiful “Our Father” wooden cross ornaments and discuss this milestone in faith. Then, during the 11:00 Festive worship service, you will lead the congregation in the Lord’s Prayer. Family Time will be in lieu of Sunday School for Sunday learners on March 17.
All students age four through fifth grade will sing in the 11:00 a.m. Festive worship service on March 17. If your child is a Sunday learner, please pick him or her up from Sunday School, show your child where you will be sitting in worship, and then help him or her line up outside the Library to sing.
The Potluck Supper is coming up, on March 30, at 6:00 p.m., in The Gathering Place. Sign up at the Information Center for the type of dish you plan to bring—Main Dish, Side Dish, Salads and Rolls, and Desserts. If you would like to help with the Potluck Supper, contact Loretta Nelson, 336-2942, ext. 14 or lnelson@oslchurch.com.

OSL supports the Food to You Mobile Food Pantry by donating various food items throughout the year, which will be used by local families in need.
