OSL volunteers helped out with the Food to You distribution, at Augustana Lutheran Church, on September 17. It was a cool, pleasant autumnal afternoon, and some 82 households were served. Deb Harlan snapped these photos of volunteers at work.
Throughout the year, OSL supports the Food to You Mobile Food Pantry by donating various food items to help local families in need, and helping with food distributions. Monthly food items are posted in Coming up at OSL, with marked bins near the south entrance, by the Library, for donations.
A call had gone out earlier for pasta, which was in short supply at Food to You…and OSL members responded with about 200 packages of various kinds of pasta for the distribution (above). Thank you for your generous support!
