Our Savior’s is currently accepting applications for the position of Director of Faith Formation.
This individual will develop, direct, and coordinate, together with the Pastor of Youth and Family and the Faith Formation Core Ministry Team, the congregation’s ministry to and with children, especially, but not strictly limited to those birth–5th grade, their parents, and their caring adults. This ministry aims to nurture faith God gives to children; to enable the community of faith that surrounds children—especially their parents—to fulfill promises made at the time of a child’s baptism; and to fulfill the congregation’s promise to support and pray for children so they may grow to “proclaim Christ through word and deed, care for others and the world God made, and work for justice and peace” (from the Sacrament of Holy Baptism ELW p. 228).
