Spiritual Care at Our Savior’s
The Spiritual Care Team of Our Savior’s is committed to serving the members of our congregation, and people within our community, with programs that provide compassionate care in transitional times of life. By offering holistic care, our team walks side-by-side with those going through difficult times, reassuring them of Christ’s presence and love.

We meet in the chapel from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. for a time of sharing and discussing ways in which we can get through this time of life-changing grief and loss. This confidential group welcomes others to join them in their prayer time on behalf of others. Stop by any Wednesday to learn more about their ministry.
Visitation Ministry
Visitation Ministers serve communion monthly to those who are no longer able to physically attend church services.
Perhaps you have someone in your family who is a resident of a nursing home or care facility in our community. Maybe you are that person who is no longer able to attend church in person at OSL. Remember, you are still an important part of our family of faith, and we are grateful for the ministry you share with us. Each month our ministry team visits people in nursing homes, care facilities, and who are homebound in their own homes for a time of prayer, sharing Holy Communion, and fellowship. If you are unable to get to church and would like a monthly visit, please call our Spiritual Care Ministry Team at church and ask to be included in our monthly visitation schedule. We will be there for you.
Caring Friends Ministry
Volunteers visit our members living in care facilities to offer love and support.
In addition to our visitation team, members of our Caring Friends team also make monthly visits to our members in care facilities. These lay volunteers from our congregation make informal visits to those who can’t make it to church anymore, assuring them that they continue to be an important part of the ministry we share. If you would like to learn how you can join our Caring Friends Ministry, contact the church office and ask to speak to someone on our Spiritual Care Ministry Team.
