The Intercom – October

Have you thought about your connection points? They are the places where relationships grow, faith deepens, and we are reminded that we are part of something larger than ourselves.

Worship is one of our central connection points at Our Savior’s, and I am grateful that so many of you make worship a priority, whether you join us in person or worship with us online. Gathering around Word and Sacrament matters. It connects us to God and to one another. It also is one of the few place of connection in all of society where you can find 5 generations interacting together.

But worship is only one of the places where those connections are happening. The church is at its best when we don’t simply attend, but connect.

So come. Come to worship. Come to Bible study. Come to Kids Club, a Women’s Circle, Faith & Ferment, a service opportunity, the quilters or an exercise group. Or join one of the many other groups where people gather at OSL.

Come because there is light between us, and it grows brighter when we share it.

Grace and peace,

Pastor Michael Stadtmueller
