Stewardship 2027
A lighthouse does not shine for itself. It stands on the shore so that others, many of whom it will never meet, can find their way through the darkness, avoid danger, and arrive safely home or further their journey.
Jesus Christ is the Light of the World. We are not the light. Rather, we have been entrusted with tending that light here in this place and sharing it with others. Week after week, generation after generation, God’s people have cared for the ministry of this church so that Christ’s light continues to shine far beyond the walls of the building.
As you prayerfully consider your Statement of Intent for the coming year, we invite you to see your commitment not simply as supporting a budget, but as joining generations of Christians who have faithfully tended Christ’s light for the sake of others.
Thank you for being part of this ministry. Thank you for helping keep the light burning. And thank you for sharing Christ’s light with neighbors you may never meet, but whom God deeply loves.
